This place is amazing! Top notch Greek food in the heart of Ybor City! From the moment we walked into Acropolis Greek Taverna, the ambiance whisked us away to the Mediterranean. We started with an array of appetizers, each more tantalizing than the last. The Saganaki was a fiery delight, and the Spinach Dip was a creamy dream. But it was the Shrimp Tinos that stole the show - a dish so divine, it could make the gods envious. For the main course, the Gyro Platter was a masterclass in flavor, with gyro meat so well-seasoned it danced on the palate, paired with a Tzatziki Sauce that was nothing short of legendary. The Acropolis Seafood entrée was a symphony of the sea, bathed in a luscious red pepper cream sauce that complemented the shrimp and scallops perfectly. The only misstep was the mussels, which remained closed, but this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless meal. While the sangria didn't hit the mark for my personal taste, it's clear it's crafted to appeal to a variety of palates. This minor detail won't deter us; the overall experience was amazing, and we're already planning our next visit. The drinks at this place are really good. Mango margarita, Yummy!! I ordered a Greek salad. The salad was fresh, however I wasn't a big fan of the dressing. I like a little more savory flavor. The dressing that comes with the salad is a little bit sweet and citrus flavor, like oranges. Not much of a fan. The waitress was nice. We were able to sit wherever was open. We sat at a table by the bar. Overall it was not a bad spot.

The chicken tenders are awesome. I really recommend. The food is awesome. I like to spend time in the restaurant. The Sieracki app is really yummy in the birth is really fresh and it's really really soft when you're unable city you should pass by to acropolis really nice

The food, service, and atmosphere of Acropolis is top notch. Such a friendly staff and lively experience. Whether outdoor dining or at the bar for a quick bite you can't go wrong with this place.

The food here was exceptional!! I had the acropolis salad and my friend had the gyro sandwich. Both were so good! The salad especially was fantastic! I love the surprise of potato salad and the house made Greek dressing is insane! Perfectly cooked gyro! Highly recommend it all! The service was not amazing, the waitress seemed in a hurry and had little interest in any pleasantries. She really rushed us along. I don't know why it's hard to be patient with guests and make sure they have a good experience. Restaurants really need to watch this. The ambiance is cute and there's a ton of space! I can't imagine it being too hard to get a table! I want to give this 5 stars but the service knocks one off for me!

Amazing food. Fresh Perfectly made, well seasoned, and very authentic . Service was spot on checked on us regularly without being intrusive. Knew the dishes and helpful guidance without being pushy. The ambiance, food,and staff made our visit world class, and very memorable

10/10!!! Everything was so delicious and enjoyable! Popped in here during the Tampa Pride festival and was seated right away. My friends and I shared some apps and each one was better than the last! The whipped feta was some of the best I've had. The mushrooms were so good! The staff was quick and friendly, my friends and I enjoyed free frozen drinks that were so refreshing! A great experience!

The staff are very friendly and attentive which is a plus for any diner. It's an open and light dining area with outdoor seating. Our server was great and handled our order absolutely perfect. The food choices are a testament to Greek tradition and served hot and fresh. It's a great place in the middle of an historic part of Tampa.
